Gary Wilkinson Stained Glass
Gary contacted us after liking what he saw from a previous project of ours. He was having big problems with his small business website and was growing frustrated.

Gary had been through three local webmasters and not only did his site look unfinished, but it wasn't showing up well in Google search results.
A quick look "under the hood" revealed the reasons for poor search results, including skads of hidden text and inappropriate keywords. But even if we got his site near the top of Google search results, if the site didn't look professional when people visited, it would all be a waste of time. So we decided to spruce up the site and then focus on Search Engine Optimization(SEO), keeping in mind the limited budget of a small business.
There was no budget for a professional custom design, so we took an existing free template and modified it to match the colours of Gary's logo and kep everything else simple. We rewrote much of the text of his site, added some additional content, then turned our focus to create a simple yet effective gallery of his work.
The result is that his website went from being a pain in the butt to a lead-generating marketing tool for his business. Now Gary focuses on creating pieces of stained-glass art instead of his website and that makes us here at OWG feel great.
In Gary's words:
"My previous web-site was bland, uninspired and designed by a "web-master" who although somewhat technically proficient, was lacking in the creative aspects of web design. It looked unappealing, and plain and simple just didn't work. I discovered Dean's work one day while checking out the Town of Collingwood's web-site and was very impressed with it's visually clean and easy to understand look.
I contacted Dean and after a few short, pleasant meetings, he produced my current web-site. I have been told by many people that they like my site's appearance and find navigating it very easy and informative. I also apprecate that any updates to the site are accomodated by Dean very quickly.
A great job."
