Municipal government most-directly affects the day-to-day lives of regular folks like us, yet they have the fewest resources and smallest budgets of all levels of government to reach out to their constituents.

So when the nearby Town of Collingwood began looking for a replacement to their clunky Cold-Fusion based content management system, Open Web Group founder Dean Reeds saw an opprotunity to bring his project management and website development experience to the project.

About our solution

Based on our previous experience, we have customized the most recent stable version of Drupal, the world's top-rated open source (read “free” and “heavily supported”) content management system to meet the needs of municipal government websites. This is by no means meant to be a cookie-cutter solution but rather an advanced starting point that allows us to hit the ground running, so to speak.
